《 山 壺 》
山高遠輕塵，水長石為枕。
茶壺外型像座大山一樣，茶杯則像山間水流旁的兩顆小石頭，猶如古人修養身心，達到“枕石漱流”，一種禪的境界。此壺是於大陸江蘇宜興鎮當地製成的紫砂壺。紫砂泥是宜興當地特產礦質含量高的泥土，當茶壺與茶杯輕碰撞會發出輕脆的金屬響聲，且表面在燈光下隱約發出金屬光澤，濕潤後的表面呈現深紫色。紫砂泥珍貴是由於其不能再生且日益稀少。另外紫砂泥的可塑性高，因此紫砂壺有相當多樣化的外形。
紫砂泥本身的組織結構較為特殊，有多孔性，會吸收茶的香氣，在用此壺長期泡茶之後，就算不泡茶，茶壺也會自然的散發出茶香，遂有茶人所謂的“養壺”之稱，因此也建議一種壺泡同種茶，保持茶香的純粹；紫砂泥亦能阻絕和降低空氣中的氧化作用，因此存在壺內的茶即使放了一段時間，發酵程度也較小，因此紫砂壺有“泡不走味，存不變色”之雅名。
